Most dentists work as self-employed practitioners in general practice, providing dental care to the public under the National Health Service (NHS)  and/or privately.

The Westwood College dental assisting degree will give you the skills and training you will need to support dentists and help provide quality dental care to patients. The Dental Assisting Associate of Applied Science program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills to work as a chair-side dental assistant in general and specialty practices.
