Summary
There was a kid named Mitch he was only 15 and in freshman year. His is father had a disease. Mitch really loved his father. Mitch decided to join a championship contest to make his father proud because he knew that his dad would pass away next year. So he really thought that it would be a good year to make his dad proud.

Health Educator
Duties and responsibilities: These professionals focus on teaching patients and the public how to get and stay well. Patient education can be an effective way to control ever increasing health care costs, so the demand for health educators is growing. Health educators create programs that encourage health and wellness, and prevent disease. Health educators work in public clinics, schools, and colleges, hospitals or community centers. They are often responsible for creating and implementing health education programs for the general public.

Salary: $58,915

Education: Most health educator jobs require a bachelor’s degree at minimum and some employers may prefer candidates who also are certified health education specialist. Undergraduate fields of study include health promotion or health education, and often include an internship.

They also get to educate people about your health and provide them with information that can help them in they’re lifestyle.

Reflection; What this quote means that if we do anything it can affect us in the future because whatever choice you make can depend in how people are going to take it and will treat you how you chose your action. If it’s good then people will mostly remember what actions you took and good things may happen to you.



Police Officer
Duties And Responsibilities; Police officers provide protection to the general public. They work for local or state police departments and perform a variety of duties, including patrolling neighborhoods, directing traffic and investigating crimes. A high school diploma or the equivalent is required, and many officers hold college degrees. After being hired, recruits train at a police or law enforcement academy to learn about ethics, local regulations and civil rights as well as to get hands-on training in various aspects of police work.
Salary; $56,130 for police and sheriff's patrol officers
Education; Police officer education requirements range from a high school diploma to a college degree. The minimum requirement is usually a high school diploma, although an increasing number of police departments require applicants to complete at least one or two years of college coursework or have an associate’s degree. A bachelor’s degree is the minimum requirement for federal police jobs. In urban police departments and federal agencies, knowing how to speak a foreign language is considered a plus.











Reflection; My connections with being a police officer is that I would like to be one because it seems cool. I would also like to be one because they help people.

Reflection; What this quote means is that the best way that you can predict is by seeing the path your on right now and if its good you will have a good future and you can predict your future since now

Whenever someone sneezes you say “bless you” or hear someone say these words.
Why? Why are these words spoken?
 It’s used to wish a person blessings in various situations especially as a response to a sneeze and also when parting or writing a valediction.

When? When did this saying originate?
 By the AD 590 as an outbreak of the bubonic plague was reaching Rome.

How? How did this saying originate?
At the time sneezing was thought to an early symptom of the plague. The blessing became a common effort to halt the disease. Some have offered an explanation suggesting that people once held the folk belief that a person’s soul could be thrown from their body when they sneezed, that sneezing otherwise opened the body to invasion by the devil or evil spirits, or that sneezing was the body’s effort to force out an invading evil presence. In cases, “god bless you or bless you is used as a sort of shield against evil.
